Connection

How to connect Facebook

1

Open FB Accounts

Open the FB Accounts page in the panel. This is where invite links are created and connected Facebook profiles are listed.

2

Create an invite link

Click Create invite link. Add a description or label if needed, for example Client account A.

3

Copy or send the link

Copy the generated link and open it in a browser, or send it to the Facebook account owner who should connect the profile.

4

Continue with Facebook

On the invitation page, click Continue with Facebook and complete the official Facebook OAuth flow.

5

Grant permissions

Grant the required permissions in the Facebook window. After authorization, the system automatically starts loading Business Managers, ad accounts, and pages.

Tip

The invite link is one-time use. To connect multiple Facebook profiles, create a separate link for each profile.

Panel

FB Accounts

The FB Accounts page lists every connected Facebook profile in a table. Each row shows available assets and the current state of the profile.

This table is the source context for ad account lists and creative statistics.

Table columns

Profile name, avatar, profile ID, link to ad accounts, Business Managers, today spend, connection status, token status, and last sync time.

Business Managers

The expandable Business Managers list shows the name, ad account count, and state of each available business manager.

Token status

Active means the token can read data. Warning/expired/revoked/error require re-authorization or access review.

Available actions

Actions in a profile row let the user create a new link, open accounts, refresh the token, start synchronization, disable the account, or delete the connection.

Important

Actions apply to the selected connected profile. The service displays and synchronizes data, but does not edit campaigns, ads, or budgets in Facebook.

  • Create invite link — creates a one-time link for connecting a Facebook profile.
  • Open ad accounts — shows accounts available through the selected connection.
  • Refresh token — reloads the token and connection state when access needs an update.
  • Synchronize — queues loading of the profile, Business Managers, ad accounts, and pages.
  • Disable account — temporarily excludes the connection from processing without deleting the row.
  • Delete connection — removes the profile from the panel after confirmation.

Accounts

Connection ad accounts

Clicking the ad account link in an FB account row opens the ad accounts for that connection. The table helps verify which accounts are available through a specific profile and Business Manager.

A user can filter by Business Manager and search by account ID. Account states are shown as read-only data from Facebook.

  • Name and external account ID help match an account with Facebook.
  • Business Manager shows the source of the account.
  • Status and currency help quickly understand whether the account is useful for analytics.
  • The account list provides context for statistics and synchronization.

Analytics

Creative and ad statistics

Statistics shows read-only metrics for creatives and ad data. The table aggregates data by Creo, WebName, GEO, language, status, and key metrics.

Available metrics include spend, clicks, leads, CPC, CPL, CPM, CTR, Click2Install, and Uniq.EPC. The Totals row on the last page shows aggregated values for the current selection.

Filters

Use search by Creo, WebName, or ad account ID, plus WebName, country/GEO, status, and period filters.

Sorting

Click a sortable column header to change sorting. By default, statistics are sorted by spend descending.

Table refresh

The refresh button reloads the current API selection without changing filters.

Drill-down

Detailed information after clicking a creative

Clicking a statistics row opens a dialog with detailed information for the selected creative for the current period and filters.

The Creo tab shows media preview. The Save button downloads the available preview file through a safe download proxy. If the creative is dynamic or has multiple GEO values, extra tabs appear.

Creo

Image or video preview, title/body text, and available source media.

ID_account

Breakdown by ad accounts where the selected creative was used.

Fun Page

Facebook pages linked to ads that used the selected creative.

Text

Ad texts found for the selected creative.

Pixel

Pixel data and related ad objects when available through the API.

Placement

Placements and related ad delivery metrics.

Synchronization

Automatic and manual data refresh

Connected Facebook cabinets refresh automatically every 3 hours by Kyiv time. On May 31, 2026 Kyiv is UTC+3, so UTC examples are: 00:00 Kyiv = 21:00 UTC previous day, 03:00 Kyiv = 00:00 UTC, 06:00 Kyiv = 03:00 UTC.

Creative and ad analytics update every hour by Kyiv time. For summer UTC+3, examples are the same offset: 10:00 Kyiv = 07:00 UTC, 11:00 Kyiv = 08:00 UTC. Kyiv's actual UTC offset can change because of daylight saving time.

Manual sync is available from Statistics: the user selects a connection, date from/date to, and starts sync. The result is queued as a background task, and task statuses open from a separate button.

1

Open Sync

Click the sync button in Statistics.

2

Choose a connection

A regular user selects a Facebook connection. Selecting individual ad accounts is not available to the role user.

3

Set the period

Keep the current filter period or choose a custom date range.

4

Check statuses

After starting sync, open background sync statuses to view progress and history.

Profile

Profile and security

In the profile area, a user manages personal Ads Clover Group settings: display name, interface language, avatar, password, and passkeys.

The Facebook password is not stored in Ads Clover Group. The service reads data with granted Facebook access tokens, which are processed by the server and may require re-authorization when expired or revoked.

  • Change your password only from your own profile.
  • Use a passkey if your device and browser support WebAuthn.
  • If Facebook access breaks, create a new invite link and re-authorize the profile.
  • Deleting a connection removes the linked Facebook profile from the panel.
